My Story

Being a mom, a grandma (Nunu as the little people call me) a sister, a daughter and a friend is who I am at heart. It is who I am. It is what I live for.

Hello! I'm Linda Makins, and I'd like to share a bit about myself with you. I'm a proud mother of two amazing sons, and they've blessed me with five wonderful grandsons. Family means the world to me, and I cherish every moment with them. I am also a daughter and a sister to two amazing sisters.

Throughout my life, I've been known as an honest, enduring, and loving friend who will go above and beyond. Professionally, I've spent most of my adult life working in administration and counselling. I have a deep passion for listening to, and helping people.

I have a special place in my heart for animals and have had the opportunity to enjoy many fur kids over my years be a part of my family. Another love of mine is traveling. Over the past ten years, I've had the pleasure of exploring many incredible places. Some of my favourite destinations include the USA, Mexico, Thailand, and various countries in Europe like Spain and Portugal. Recently, I've also fallen in love with Bali, a beautiful gem for Australians to visit.

And so in continuing my passion for connecting with others, this journey has led me to this amazing path of Celebrancy. I understand that ceremonies are a pivotal moment in one’s life and I can’t wait to be a part of it. Together, we can design a ceremony that is uniquely yours and reflects the beauty of your love, commitment and respect.
